In 2004 Hurricane Charley...the eye of Hurricane Charley, the cross hairs of the center of the eye....passed within 100 yards of our house. Winds had been recorded at 178 mph when the annemometer blew off the pole at the hospital heliport.

Charley blew the windows out of the wall at our house and then blew them through the house and out the other side.

For the next year and a half we built a new house while working to rebuild our business as well.
