The Kids Cup Redfish Tournament for 2008 was held on Saturday April 19
at Fishermen's Village In Punta Gorda
Booker Cothern was the 2008 Kids Cup Winner!
Starting Order of anglers will be determined by the postmark on their completed application and parental release forms which MUST BOTH be received by MAIL.
Entry forms will also be available at local bait and tackle shops and at schools starting on Feb 1
Entry fee is $100 per angler.

The top 5 Kids Cup anglers on April 19 will go on to fish on the final day of the ESPN2 Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup on Sunday April 26 and weigh in their fish on the ESPN2 Redfish Cup stage in front of the TV cameras at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda. The Kids Cup Trophy will be presented to the winner.
This year we are trying to set up an electronic fish tracking program to monitor 5 or 10 released fish
and we're working on a (yet-to-be-determined) 'boat performance trial.'
