A PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC PERSPECTIVE

Aerial Photography Note

The black and white image was made on Tri-X film with a 6x7 Pentax at about 17,000 feet as the Kitty Hawk balloon was over the Rockies on its non-stop flight across North America. Detail is lost in aerial photographs made with 35mm equipment. Look at the35mm view of the southern part of Charlotte Harbor and then compare it to one of the other images that are all 6x7 format. I like Fujichrome 100 for color slides or Ilford HP-5 for black and white in the Pentax 6x7 camera, for aerials.
