Vertical Portraits

Here we go again. Not only do you have to get a certain person's picture, but it needs to be a vertical. These challenges are what help hone a photographer's skills. Even if you are not shooting a specific requirement, sometimes it is good to challenge yourself. Go out and shoot a roll or two of nothing but verticals, look for pictures of people all facing in the same direction in the frame. Set up some guide lines for yourself before you go out. These little self-assigned projects give you insight into your own strengths and your own weaknesses.
